Project overview
S333’s masterplan will lead to a comprehensive regeneration of Derriford Hospital and the surrounding local area. The site, on the north edge of Plymouth city centre near Plymouth Airport, will become a new urban centre called Bircham Park within Plymouth City Council’s ‘Area Action Plan’, a strategic framework for the development of north Plymouth.
S333’s regeneration masterplan aims to create a mixed-use urban centre in the heart of north Plymouth that is connected to the city’s public transport network. It will focus on creating and maintaining a thriving and sustainable community as set out in the requirements of the Area Action Plan.
